PSAL is the Public Schools Athletic League. Coordinates the interscholastic competition for the more than 400 New York City public high schools, with more than 45000 student athletes.
The football feminine and masculine team of the public schools athletic league (PSAL) of New York, participated of an exchange programme in Spain in collaboration with FC Barcelona. We designed for them a unique programme combining sport with culture and tourism.
In Barcelona they were welcomed at the City Hall by the deputy mayor; they visited the monuments of Gaudi; they trained at FC Barcelona training centre under the supervision of the club’s technical staff; they visited the Camp Nou stadium and then had the opportunity to watch the game between FC Barcelona and U.C. Sampdoria of the Joan Gamper Trophy.
In Madrid they participate of a biking gymkhana in the city and most of it in the Retiro Park; they discovered the city history and visited the Prado Museum; there was also time for an unforgettable day in Toledo. Beside the guided visit of the Bernabeu stadium, they even played few friendly games against local teams.
An excellent experience for a teenager’s team and its trainers and physicians.
